Ride Description: The recce group on Saturday will identify the real route for Sunday including most of the technical rating. Ride from the Bridge into the open area between Buccleuch and Alexandra (Frankenwald) staying North of Malboro Drive – zigzag in that property. Then ride down the old Pretoria Road and pick up the old Steers Kyalami/94.7 MTB route which rides towards Midrand, loops around to Modderfontein Nature Reserve and then back through the suburbs of Buccleuch. There are lots of opportunities to shorten the route for the green group in the zigzag we have through the Frankenwald. Visitors welcome at R30 per rider .

Directions: Coming from Johannesburg on the M1 motorway, take the Kelvin/Buccleuch offramp, turn right across the highway. At the T-Junction (Old Pretoria Road), turn left towards Midrand. Drive 486m and turn right into Gibson Drive. Drive 623m and enter a traffic circle, take the first exit left which is Buccleuch Drive. Drive 504m and right into The Bridge Shopping Centre.
