Ride Description: Awesome ride (something for everybody) - starting from Nikita we climb up the tar, onto the Kalkheuwel jeep and single tracks (green rides a bit more tar), climb the concrete strips, shoot down the 5km downhill (this is so cool), ride to the Harties gorge. Here the groups split with green doing the shortest direct route back to Nikita. Blue will climb the Swiss Restaurant Mountain and the Crocodile River Pass. and then finally the long haul back to Nikita. The finish is a magnificent fast downhill back to the Nikita parking lot.  Notice how the ratings and distances above vary according to group skill and fitness level.

Visitors at R30.00 per rider! Bring money for breakfast afterwards.  

Note: A lot of this ride is private property, access to which has been negotiated. Do not come back and ride here at other times.

Directions: Head out on Malibongwe/Hans Strydom past the Lanseria Airport intersection, pass the Home of the Chicken Pie (Maggie's Farm) and approximately 10km further on on the right hand side is the Nikita Pub and Grill. There is a large parking area, however, do not park near nor in front of the restaurant.
