The CHRISTMAS PUB-CRAWL through Melville

WHEN :                      Friday, 09 December 2011

START :                      1830hrs

VENUE :                         CAMPUS SQUARE, C/O Kings Way & University Road, Melville

…on the parking lot, there is News Café, Woolworths,

DURATION :                  … as long as you want it to be.

DRESS CODE :               … Antlers on your helmet, flashing lights, Santas Hat, your wife’s underwear….whatever blows your hair back, be creative

HOW IT’S GONNA ROLL  :      We ride from there up into Melville and visit Cool Runnings first, which is by now a tradition to have one of their Absynthe’s on offer,

and then we decide from there (well, I do have an idea, but I’m not tellin’ ) J The idea is to spend 30mins – 45mins or so at each place,

                                                                                pending on how the vibe is and how much Poncho Coffee Tequila is left.  

The ROUTE is ‘freeformat’ and will be made up, improvised and executed as far as our tiny birdbrains allows.

GROUPS :                        … just like the Addams Family….. ONE BIG HAPPY LOT,  no set speed, no set distance, just a ride. So no whingy whingy if you don’t get your anticipated 65km…

COMMENTS :                    It’s a social FUN-ride where we are together with our two most valued possessions; MT Bike and Dop

You are more than welcome to bring friends, family, your party-animal cousins, your jivey grandmother, your Ex-wife, your affair that no-one knows about…to meet us along the route at the pubs.  We will be having a bite to eat at one of the places and eventually try and return to sender – Campus Square.

A word of caution:                Yes, we will drink.  Yes, we may be getting tipsy.  Yes, we will have a FAT LAUGH at your / our bicycling skills after a few shooters and Tequilas…. And we might even throw in a free Skills Clinic – you’ll be amaaaaazed what you can do.
