MANKELE WEEKEND:

Yay!!! Now is the time. We’ll be at Mankele this weekend. There is a map attached. It can also be found on the website. If you have not advised me that you are coming you are still welcome – just arrive and look for the club banners. There is plenty of camping space.

·       When you arrive, look for the club banners and set up camp nearby – our first ride is planned for 2:30 on Friday 27/4.

·       Accommodation is near the river so it will be cold at night – don’t forget some woollies.

·       The club will provide the wood for a communal fire each day (lunchtime or evening) – bring your own food and drinks.

·       There is a coffee shop open over weekends - They do breakfasts & sandwiches, burgers, milkshakes, coffee,  sweets, beers & coldrinks.

·       We will do a 20km night ride on Saturday so bring lights if you have them – hot chocolate and buns afterwards – provided by the club.

·       Bring your costumes – the are tubes available for playing in the river.

·       This is a relaxed weekend so plans may change regarding time/type of ride – maybe even mixed relay, spot prizes.

·       Bring your musical instruments, bats, balls, Frisbees, whatever

·       Non-cyclists will also have fun at the venue.

PS: don’t forget your bicycle and gear plus spares.
