Ride Groups: Standard yellow, red and blue

Ratings - Technical : 6/10   Hills: 9/10    Distance : 40km

Starting From: Nikita Pub and Grill

Starting Time: 7h00 for 7h30

Ride Description: Starting from Nikita we head out on gravel road until we reach the Broederstroom Harties tar road (R512). We cross the R512 twice and then ride round and then over one of the notorius Harties mountains and then descend the switchbacks to the gorge and the quarry. Crossing the R512 again, we ride along the railway line - always a favourite for the hard tails. Then we ride through the gap between the mountains and turn left down to the Crocodile river. We wind our way up the Crocodile river pass, down the concrete strips, along the single track past Dockers and back through the mountains to complete the figure eight. Finally we ride the long hawl back uphill to Nikita.

Please note this is a Feral ride, no beginner or green level riders please! Bring money for breakfast afterwards.

Directions: Head out on Malibongwe/Hans Strydom past the Lanseria Airport intersection, pass the Home of the Chicken Pie (Maggie's Farm) and approximately 10km further on on the right hand side is the Nikita Pub and Grill. There is a large parking area.
